Irish Yogurts make a total of 70 lines of products for which
they have received many prestigious awards both at national
and international level.
Irish Yogurts Ltd. has gone from strength to
strength since its establishment in 1994, having received many
awards such as:
Certificate of Merit in the National Food Shows.
Overall winner in 1998 of the National Enterprise
Awards and in 1999 represented Ireland in the World's Young
Business Achievers competition in Sintra, Portugal.
Winning the Dairy Category and Supreme Award
at Tesco Ireland Irish Food and Drinks Awards in June 1998,
enabled the listing of Irish Yogurts products in Tesco Stores,
U.K.
In November 1998 the company was one of the five
short-listed companies for the Compaq Ireland Trade Awards which
recognise the growing importance of trade and business throughout
the island of Ireland by acknowledging outstanding achievements
in that field.
In September 1999 Irish Yogurts Ltd. were the
monthly winner of the Growth and Business Programme sponsored
by the Irish Independent, Ulster Bank and Commercial Services
in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
Ireland.
Irish Yogurts Ltd. were rates as Business of
the Month in January 2000 - sponsored by the Evening Echo and
Irish Examiner.
In March 2000 Irish Yogurts were chosen winners
of an all Ireland competition for Innovation through the use
of Technology, which was organised by Focus
Media, and Today FM.
Irish Yogurts Ltd. received a National Marketing
and Sales Award for 2002.
Also in 2002 Irish Yogurts received the Fuchsia Brand Excellence
Award for the "Outstanding Application of the Fuchsia Brand
by a Food Enterprise" which was presented by Muiris Kennedy
of Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board) and Joe Walsh, Minister for
Agricultiure, Food and Rural Development.
In 2003, Irish Yogurts won the Tesco Irish Food
Producers' Small Producer Export Award. This award was a celebration
of Irish success and was presented by Sir Terry Leahy, Chief
Executive of Tesco plc and An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern T.D.
In January 2004, Irish Yogurts were winners of ESAT BT Cork
Company of the Year Award for Small/Medium Enterprise (SME)
Companies of 2003.
